Cakes - Promotion

Well, I know this is totally out from the purpose of my blog, but well, life isn't about diet! We should give ourselves some "merdeka" time!!

Ok..here are some cakes photo. Fruit cakes. Kiwi is one main food that gives us more fibre. Selling price are RM 42 per KG. For those who are on diet plan .. get this as your breakfast (of course not 1 cakes for breakfast!!) ..

Coppuccino Cake - rich with coppuccino. Yummy .. This one looks simple but with the coffee smells, it is one good choice for everyone out there!

This cute cakes here, I call it little girl cakes. Hehehe.. suitable as presents for little kids or even big kids like me. Hehehe .. I wonder how does it taste like.. Slurrpp....Can anyone tell me what does that Chinese word means ??

Another cutie. Now with her boy boy. Hehehee ... Hey, it's a nice cakes for those who are courting gals eh. You can let her know that you are always beside her, just like the boy in the cakes. Hehehe ..

Things to do After Workout

I am back with some tips on exercise & losing weight! Hehehe ...

Most people didn't realize that there is things to take note after each workout. Normally, we just rested on the sofa without thinking what we suppose to do. I read some article the other day. In fact, if we just sit on the chair right after workout, we are harming ourselves, slowly. When we gets older, we will feel the suffering of this normal practice.

So what should we do ?

1. Cool Down - this is very important. It simply means, we need to take a few deep breath and let it go slowly to tell our body to slow down. This should not be missed. Worst, if we skip this, we might end up fainted because our body thought it still need the same amount of energy to keep the whole body into workout position. So, please take few deep breath after you finish your workout.

2. Stretching - Normally, after workout, all our muscles and nerves are "tighten". It's like if you sit too long in front of the computer, your neck feels ache. To relieve the ache, we need to turn our head or massage our shoulder. Same goes to after workout. Stretching simply let our muscle relax.

3. Drink Water - Now water is our daily lifes need. But we need more water especially after workout. Make sure that during the workout, we drink some water (not one bottle!) and after workout, we should drink plenty of water to replace back the lost of "water" in our body.

4. Refuel - Drinking 1 glass of water right after workout isn't enough to replace the fluid. Occasionally, we should drink water within 2-3 hours after the workout.

Aerobics or Yoga ?

Some people thought yoga is the best. Some assume that aerobics burns more calories. For me they are both inter-link. :)

Aerobics

It's true that aerobics burns more calories. 1 hour aerobic will burn at least 400 calories. But it's also true that once we stop aerobics, we gain back the fat. Why ? Normally, after aerobics, people tends to eat a lot. Due to the lost of energy, people eat a lot to replace back or to fill their hunger. Once they stop going for aerobic, their eating habits remains. That's why we gain back the weight.

Aerobic teaches us to move our body all over. After each aerobics, we fe
el extremely tired and our body seem aching. My personal opinion is because our body felt the heat of the aerobics. Same like the heat produce by the engine of our car after the car finishes one round of race. That's why we need to cool down the engine and do some maintenance, else the car will breakdown in short time. It's like if you don't service your car and assume by feeding the car with petrol, it can runs as per what you want. This is wrong!! What am I talking about here ? Well, servicing the car is like refreshing your car.

My personal point of view, that is what yoga do to our body.


Yoga

There are many types of yoga. Overall, they all focus in one thing-stretchin
g. It stretches our bone, body and by using inner strength, we gain more energy. Also, release stress. Last week, I didn't attend any yoga class at all. And I can feel that my shoulder is extremely "heavy". Hahaha .... 1 hour yoga burns around 100 cal, depending on the movement, etc. Although it don't burns much, but it's worth it to include yoga in your list of exercise oh !! ... :)

Meal Plan, Exercise Plan - Testing Testing Testing ...

Hhmmm, maybe because of the nature of being a Material Planner in my company, therefore everything that I do, is based on planning.. Hahahahaha ....

Realistic ??? Hahaha .. Well, I live in Malaysia and most of the food here are rice, rice, rice and nothing but rice !! Some more, my cafe in my office doesn't allow me to have more choice of food. If I am to go out and eat, I don't think I'll have the time to update my little diary here. Hehehe .... Sacrifices are needed..sob sob sob...

Ok! Enough with my crap. Here is my plan for meal. Hhmm, not sure if it's realistic or not. Not sure if it's healthy meal or not, but in this plan, I focus more on vegetables and fish..not forgetting the Malaysian trend of eating rich

As I need at least 1400 cal per day, I come out with this sort of table. Breakfast here is about 300 cal while lunch is 600 cals and dinner is 500 cals. I put more in lunch because I usually eat at 8 in the evening and sleep at 10 pm .. Hehehe, yeah, I know .. I'm a pig .. one of my hobbies are sleeping actually. Hehehhe ... Independent means that I give myself a "merdeka" time to eat something special. Hehehehe ... Is this healthy meal ?? I don't know but this is my plan. Let's see if it works or not ....

OK. There goes meal planning. And now the exercise planning. After reading the article about metabolism thingy, I come out with one testing (and the guinea pig is myself, hahahaha). Last week, I took a rest of 4 days no exercise but just stay lazy. Meaning, burning less calories than what I eat. Therefore, my metabolism slows down until yesterday. So, from yesterday onwards, until 31st July, I will launch my test. This means intensive exercise to boost up my metabolisme so that my body burns more calories than usual. In term of food, I will try (I mean try oh coz I'm always stubborn) to eat based on my table up there. What matters is the quantity. This mean, I'll eat when my tummy say "hungry", as long the total calories consume isn't more than 1600 cal. After 31st July, I will rest for 4 days. This means no exercise for 4 days and minimizing all my food consumption to 1400 cal, which is what I should consume per day. If my assumption is correct, my metabolism in this 4 days will follow the past 2 weeks metabolism, assuming the "machine" need to work hard for the exercise. So, I will also burn calories here.

In my table, no exercise on Saturday. Well, I am not a robots! I also need a break for myself..this day would be for shopping, playing, sleeping, bla bla bla .. hahahaha ..

For those who wants to follow this, follow at your own risk. I will not hold any responsibility as this is my own planning, not to be follow by others! Also, please please please quit the exercise if your body say "No, I can't take it anymore" .. Understand ?! .. I will also give this advice to myself. Hehehehe ...

Anoreksia Nervosa - Geezzzzzzzzz

What does this picture tell us ?? Well, it's a young lady seeing herself so so fat although in actual facts, she is slim enough.

Some people, thought that are fat although they are so so so skinny. Geezzzz, this world isn't fair !! Hahahaha ... During my school time, I still remember that one of my ex classmate will vomits whenever she eat something. By using her finger, poke it into her mouth and make herself vomits. Gosh !! What the hack! Might as well don't eat and become popeye's wife! Haha ...

Anoreksia nervosa is very serious oh !! For those dieting out there, please please ... being fat is not a sin. We should lose or gain weight to meet our standard weight. Some more, we need food for our body to do it's work. Unless you wants to turn into a walking skeleton. Geezzzzzz ......

Those who are anoreksia nervosa normally have a mindset that they are overweight. They will eat as little as possible or eat nothing at all. This is very unhealthy and can lead to some major health problems. You will feel weak, restless, bla bla bla ....

Eating is not a sin. We should be greatful that we have something to eat. Cherish food, eat the healthy way and lose weight the healthy way!! Don't get yourself too stress up oh !!

Eating the Right Way, Avoid Plateau

OK .. today's lesson!! Haha, talking as if I am an expert. In fact, I am not an expert at all. My degrees don't have anything to do with goot eating habits.

Today, I r
ead an article about the right eating habits and what will happen if we starve ourselves. Just wants to share with everyone about what I have learned.

Yeah, everyone knows eat less calories = lose weight. But sometimes, when we st
arve ourselves too much, we end up not losing weight, nor gaining any weight. Our weight just stay at a discrete, constant state for ages. When this happen, we lost hope and again, start our old eating habits once again.

y, before we start to give up hope, let me share some of the things that I have just learned. Our body is like a machine that can think and make choices. Like car, when you see that your petrol is getting nearer to "E", you might switch off the air-con, bla bla bla. Same thing with our body. When we consume less than what we actually needed, our body metabolim will slow down assuming that there is not enough "petrol" if it continues with the normal metabolism rate. Therefore, we don't lose weight !! Instead, we might even feel tired, lazy, sleepy, bla bla bla ...

Our body need at least 1200 calories per day to carry out normal task. We need energy to breathe,
to eat, to take our bath, etc etc .. All this needs energy. Energy comes from calories. So, if we eat less than per require calories, our body 'halted' and started to slows down.

Well, in the article that I read, when our body stop losing weight although we have control the eating, exercise, etc ... this state is call plateau. Plateau simply means our body has reach a constant state and we will not losing any weight anymore.

Hhmmm, conclusion, controlling our food is right. But too controlling is not right. Same like human, our body will "merajuk" (sorry, can't think of the english word at the moment, hehehe) and stop cooperate with the owner in losing weight!

So eat right, and eat smart!! Fill your days with all the necessary nutrients. Carbohydrates, protein, vitamins, bla bla bla ... and make sure you get enough calories as per needed ! Don't starve yourself!!

Another things to remember. Each time after exercising, make sure you eat something within 30 minutes to 2 hours of the exercise. Our body need some "petrol" after racing on the field!! Hehehehe ... and drink plenty of waters !! Don't get dehydration !!

Diet Plan - Emotional Eater

Ok, for those that are interested in loosing some calories here..

Actually, I can say that, to loose weight is to loose calories and vice versa. It's not about loosing weight but it's all about loosing calories.

Every food contain calories. Even a small apple contain 64 calories. So, don't think that fruits doesn't contain calories. The way to loose weight is to know what type of eater you are!!

I found this website. It helps me a lot in tracking what I eat & what I do
and even gives me some motivation and some success story. With this story and motivation, it can helps us to identify how to be success (hehehee, promoting other website) .. :)

Emotional Eater

So sad to be call emotional eater .. sob sob sob ... but it's true.. The picture here is me ....

When I'm sad, I eat .. When I'm happy, I eat.
Stress, I eat .. Bored, I eat .. Sleepy, I eat .. hahaha ...

Whoever, that thinks what I say represent themselves, here is how you can control yourself! Surround yourself with all people who is also same species as you. That wants to loose some calories!! Also, keep remind yourself of those beautiful figure that you wish to hav
e. Keep on dreaming and motivate yourself. Gives yourself punishment when you intend to eat something not healthy and high calories.

But most important, never skip meals!! Never ever skip your meals!! Our body is like a car engine. Without petrol (food), it can't move. So, never skip meal! Eat as healthy as you can. Eating less doesn't mean healthy too. You need to track what you eat. In other word, track the quality of food, not the quantity of food !!

OK, here is my suggestion .. but I follow on the first week of my diet plan (hehehehe) ... Every morning, start your day by having orang juice. Orange contains Vit C and acid (don't what they call the acid name la) .. Then at 10am, eat something
light, example fruits. By then, you won't feel tooooo hungry during lunch time. Make sure you have something for tea break too. Something like mashed potatoes is good (less than 200 calories). By then, you won't feel too hungry for dinner.

That's the trick. Spread out your food into few meals so that you won't feel like crunching too much!!

18 Days 1.3 KG

YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!!

Out of my expectation, but still, I manage to lost weight !!! Yeah, been tracking all my meals and exercise and looking at my weight drops is really nice. Although, my target is 1KG a week, but well, at least and at last my diet succeed !!! Hahahaha ....

Wait till I lost another KG, then I will put my photo here..!!
